COVID- 19 Social Stories

Social storiesTM (first created by Carol Gray, 1991) are short descriptions of a particular situation, event or activity, which include specific information about what to expect in that situation and why.
Social stories present information in a literal, 'concrete' way, which may improve a person's understanding of a previously difficult or ambiguous situation or activity. They can also help to prepare people for changes in their routine.
Social stories can be used with anyone but are particularly helpful for those with Autism Spectrum Condition, learning disabilities, social communication diffiuclites and difficulties understanding spoken language.
